FAQs & Tips about Self-Storage

  1. Do you rent space month to month or do I have to sign a long-term lease?

Our rental contracts are month-to-month agreements – no long-term lease is required.

  2. Do you require a security deposit?

No, we do not require any security deposit.  There is a one time $22 administrative fee.

  3. Do you require insurance on my stored goods?

You are responsible for the items that you store with us. You may be covered under your Homeowner's/Renter's Insurance policy. Be sure to check with your insurance agent. We will need a copy of the declaration page. For those without insurance coverage or if you're looking for a little more protection, we offer affordable storage protection through the SecureLease Protection Plan. With SecureLease, there is no deductible and we are able to offer a wide range of coverage to suit your needs.

  4. Does your facility have any climate controlled units?

Yes, our facilities offer climate controlled self storage options so you don't have to worry about extreme hot or cold temperatures damaging your items while being stored.

  5. I have a lot to move into my unit. Can you help?

We have heavy duty moving carts available for our tenants to use throughout our facilities.

  6. What kind of documentation do I need to provide to rent a storage unit?

You will need to provide a valid, government-issued form of identification (e.g., driver’s license, state ID or passport).

  7. What pest control and cleanliness measures do you take?

Our facilities are treated for pest control and prevention each month by a dedicated pest control company. We also have staff on site during office hours  to inspect each facility and maintain cleanliness.

  8. What type of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, personal checks, cashier's checks, and money orders.  You may also set up autopayment directly from your bank account or on a credit card.  We do not accept cash payments.

  9. When and how much do I pay?

When you come in to sign your contract, you will pay the prorated portion of your rent for the remainder of the month, plus a one time $22 administrative fee.  If you are moving in during the last 7 days of the month, you will also pay for the following month at that time.
